Surgery With Coastal Podiatry Associates
We want to make your surgery process as easy and stress-free as possible. Here's what to expect
- Surgery Consultation
- You will meet with your podiatrist to talk about your foot and ankle problems. Together, you'll decide on a plan and see if surgery is the right option for you. After your visit, your doctor will prepare your surgery paperwork and send it to our surgery scheduler.
- Scheduling Your Surgery
- Once the scheduler receives your paperwork within 5-7 days, she will call you. During the call, she will explain your insurance coverage, and together you will pick a surgery date. She will then explain your next steps.
- If you are not called within 5-7 days, we are most likely waiting for prior authorization from your insurance company. Our surgery scheduler will call you once she receives this.
