Children's Feet

childrens feet faq

There is no age requirement for your child to be seen by a podiatrist. If you notice any concern about their feet, such as walking abnormalities, pain, or unusual foot shape, it's best to have them seen by one of our podiatrists. Early treatment is key to preventing long-term problems.

Signs to look for in children's feet

  • Flat feet or high arches
  • Inward or outward tilting of feet
  • Toe-walking or unusual walking patterns
  • Redness, swelling, or tenderness in the feet or ankles
  • Ingrown toenails or persistent foot infections

If you are unsure whether your child needs to see a podiatrist, it's always better to err on the side of caution. Foot health is critical to their overall well-being and development.
